May 16, 2009: As part of a long-term commitment to social responsibility, alongside its long-term uninterrupted power goals, Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC) has announced a voluntary donation programme by all its officers, to support the human relief efforts in Swat. This donation amount will go this weekend to the Edhi Welfare Society. Ehdi will use this money to help and the displaced people of SWAT on an urgent basis. On this occasion Naveed Ismail CEO said, “This is a small contribution to help and support our fellow countrymen and if this gesture encourages our fellow corporate to join hands in this effort, then we will have accomplished some good.
